Why choose Starter?
With a website, Starter is just $40/month more than Launch. You get 30 rides each billing period without a MakMaw ride fee, then a lower 4% rate on overage rides. A practical step up when your small team has regular bookings.
Additional region: $75/month on every plan. Regions are non-exclusive and add no included rides. Hosting adds no rides and is charged once per company website.
All prices are CAD, before any applicable tax. Website totals exclude ride fees, additional regions and Stripe processing. MakMaw ride fees apply to the pre-tax fare subtotal and exclude tips. Stripe processing fees are separate.
FAQ
What you may want to know first.
Does DD OS work with just one driver team?
Yes. DD OS is designed for two-driver teams, whether your company runs one team or several. You keep your own fares, operating rules and customer relationships. Choose a plan that fits your ride volume and tell us about your current setup when requesting pilot access.
Do I have to pay for hosting to accept online bookings?
No. Booking links, Book Now buttons and booking/API integration are included on every plan with no separate access charge. MakMaw hosting is an optional company website: $50/month on Launch, $40 on Starter, $25 on Growth and included on Scale. Your chosen plan’s ride fees still apply to online bookings. Hosting adds no rides.
Does MakMaw find customers for my company?
You market your service and build your own customer base. MakMaw supplies the software to run bookings, teams, customer communication and payments. We do not promise bookings or earnings.
Is DD OS a franchise, or does MakMaw operate a designated-driver company?
No. MakMaw operates the DD OS software platform for independent designated-driver companies. We are not a franchise and we do not operate a competing designated-driver company. You continue running your own business under your own brand.
Do I keep my own customers, pricing and branding?
Yes. You remain in control of your customer relationships, pricing, service rules, branding, teams and service areas.
What happens to my customers if I decide to stop using DD OS?
Your customer relationships remain yours. MakMaw provides the operating platform; we do not become the designated-driver service provider to your customers. If you stop using DD OS, your customers remain your customers. Before public launch, the exact data export, retention and deletion process will be documented in the production service terms.
Do customers have to download an app?
No. The customer experience is delivered through a secure mobile web link that can carry your branding.
Does MakMaw take over my Stripe account?
No. You remain the merchant through your own connected Stripe account. DD OS provides the payment workflow around the ride.
Can anyone sign up for DD OS right now?
Not yet. We are preparing a limited private pilot. Access is invitation-only so we can work directly with participating operators.
How do I request pilot access?
Use the access request form below with your company name, service area and a little about your operation. If approved for pilot access, you receive a secure owner invitation.
How does the free pilot and credit work?
The pilot is one month of free DD OS usage, with no MakMaw subscription, region or ride fees. No MakMaw subscription card or Checkout is required for the pilot. All we ask in return is feedback by phone or email. Your normal Stripe processing fees still apply to customer payments. After the pilot, choose any plan and receive $75 credit toward its base subscription each month for the next three months. Optional website hosting, additional regions and overage ride fees are then payable at the listed rates. The credit does not cover these extras. After those three credit months, full base subscription pricing applies.

Your normal Stripe processing fees apply to customer payments throughout. Full base-plan pricing begins after the three credit months.
